Happy Holidays!

I know I haven't posted anything in a while, but things have been busy, busy, busy with the holiday season. We had a wonderful Thankdgiving! I am so thankful that we were blessed to have our family at our house and share so much love and many laughs. The backyard football game was my favorite!

Here is a snippet of Will walking around this afternoon. He is really doing well with walking more and more. It's kinda sad, because he's starting to look like a little boy and not so much like a baby anymore. Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Ballplayer or Cheerleader???

Which will he be? Will absolutely LOVES his new mickey mouse ball! He enjoys playing catch so much that he even plays catch all by himself. (Throw it...go get it...throw it...go get it...) But, he also loves playing with the Auburn Megaphone. Now, I can already see our talents coming out in Will. He's got a little ballplayer in him, but there's a little of his mama's cheerleading skill in him too! Enjoy this video of Will showing off his talent!

Goodbye Little Boy in Blue!

Well, the little boy in the blue door stopper that Will has been seen talking to on multiple Blog videos had an accident Monday. Will played a little too rough with him, and his head broke off. Will just sat there looking at the headless boy, like "where'd your head go?"

Ten Months

Playing Peek-a-boo

Here's a video of Will playing peek-a-boo. He would cover his head with the blanket and then pull it down. He'd get so tickled! :-)

PSA: FLU PREVENTION

With the seasonal flu and the H1N1 flu growing in our communities, remember to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer FREQUENTLY to prevent the spread of germs. Cover your cough with a tissue or your shirt sleeve. Avoid touching your eyes, picking your nose, and putting your fingers or nails in your mouth. Will wants all of his family and friends to stay healthy this flu season, so practice good hygiene and avoid areas where germs may be easily spread like hospitals, if at all possible.

First Day at Dandyland

Will went to Dandyland for the first time today, and he did very well. His mama and daddy were a little nervous, but he seemed to have a blast! He had so much fun that he only slept 30 minutes all day!

Will and Cousin 'Kenzie

Mackenzie came over Saturday to play with her cousin, Will. He just loves her! He laughs and laughs as she bounces aroung making funny faces at him. She is pretty good at entertaining him! Here is a pic' of them playing in Will's room. He was wearing her headband. These two are too cute!

Monkey & a Messy Meal

Will fell asleep clutching his little monkey the other day. He has become quite the monkey himself,jumping around in his crib. I think we've a got a climber on our hands! He is already trying to get out of his bed.




Here's what happens when I give in and let him hold the spoon. He enjoys feeding himself, but boy, is it MESSY!

Little Jarrod

Seven Months Old

Will is seven months old today! He is growing up so fast! We played outside for a while this evening. Will likes to help water the tomato plants that his Paw-Paw gave us. Well...he particularly likes to just play with in the water while we water the "maters." Here are some pics' from playing outside today...

Brusha, Brusha, Brusha!!

This little man has his first two teeth!! He has been so good at brushing his teeth all by himself. I can tell he's going to be a very independent fella'!


He would just grin as he brushed his teeth and gums. He is growing up so fast!

Will's Dedication to our Church

Here's my favorite picture from yesterday, of Will and Jarrod. They are two good lookin' fellas'!


Will was dedicated to our church this Sunday. We were so blessed to have our family and friends join us at church and then at our home for lunch! It was a wonderful day, and it is nice to know that Will is surrounded with a Christian family!

Let Go and Let God

The day that Jarrod and I had put off for so long finally came today. We let Will go to the church nursery while we started a new Sunday School class. This week, I felt "ready" to put Will in the nursery, but Jarrod was not quite there. He was very nervous for Will. Jarrod's face was so pitiful as we neared the door to drop Will off. Ironically, our Sunday School lesson touched on how Hannah left Samuel with Eli at the church. Jarrod said he guessed if Hannah could leave her child at church "for good," then we could leave Will for two hours. :-)
When we went to pick Will up after church, he was playing and being rocked in the rocking chair. So, he was a happy boy! We were glad to see that he had a nice 1st stay in the nursery. Here's a picture of Will and his daddy after church. Two happy boys!!

Worn Out, Will

Poor little fella! Jarrod, Will, and I went to Hobby Lobby, World Market, Kirklands, and Lowes this afternoon, and after we pulled into the garage, I opened the door to see this. He was worn out!

New Tricks!

Will was all smiles eating his supper tonight. He is learning new things everyday. I came home yesterday to find that he'd picked up a new trick...blowing with his lips together making a funny sound! He was doing that tonight in between bites, so you can see that he was blowing some of his food back out onto his chin.


Here is a video of Will sitting up while he plays, but he topples over after a while and rolls around. He is too funny!

Six Month Check Up

Will went to visit Dr. Carter for his six month check up today. He weighed 17 lbs and 8 oz., was 27 inches long, and had a head circumference of 17 1/4 inches. He got a good report and received his vaccination shots. I just can't believe he is half of a year old already!

Toes in the Sand
